What makes our community unique?
Each day follows a consistent rhythm, but the experience evolves over the course of the year through a series of phases as we work towards becoming a team so that we may reimage and design a learning environment together that works for all.
The year will begin with a focus on building trust and social emotional learning. Executive functioning and organization skills, storytelling, and gamified experiences will be weaved in throughout to ensure excitement and motivation around a key goal: to create a school.

Sample Daily Schedule
8:30: Opening circle & mindfulness
9:00 –11:00: Learning block w/ built-in breaks (parent-assigned curriculum)
11:00 – 11:30: UMU activities
11:30 –12:30: Lunch and outdoor time
12:30 – 1:30: UMU activities
1:30 – 2:00: Self-study or parent-assigned curriculum
2 – 2:45: Enrichment (art, movement, music)
2:45 – 3:00: Closing meeting
